The Jena School of Microbial Communication is pleased to welcome you at the

„2nd International Student Conference on Microbial Communication“

- MiCom2011-

 

 

As microbial communication and interactions occur in various ways, we aim to have a platform for the networking of scientists dealing with intraspecific as well as interspecific communication. For this purpose, the conference is subdivided into four key topics:

1. Bacterial & Fungal Pathogens

2. Environment, Secondary Metabolites & Application

3. Ecology & Evolution of Communication

4. Theory, Modelling & Techniques

Each of these topics is guided by a world renowned keynote speaker, who additionally will hold a workshop (“Meet the expert“). To boost the exchange of ideas further we will have specific poster sessions and organize several social activities.
